Earning the Nickname “Big Nasty”

Coming into his adulthood, Florian started getting recognized by people for his impressive size and strength.

His intense workouts in the gym, along with his boxing practices, enabled him to sculpt a formidable physique throughout the years.

In fact, Florian’s physique was so impressive, that he was given a nickname “Big Nasty” by the people in the fitness and boxing scene – standing at 1,94m tall and weighing 110kg.

Creed II Movie Role

In early 2018, it was announced that Florian would play a role in movie Creed II, the sequel to the original boxing drama movie.

He’d play the son of Ivan Drago, a legendary Russian boxer played by the Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren.

Here’s what Florian said about his role in the movie; “A huge honor to play in such a big movie.  Can’t even describe my feelings in words. I’ll promise you this: I’ll work my ass off to make this movie unforgettable.” – Florian Munteanu

“Set your goals high and don’t stop until you get there.”

Training

Combining Boxing With Fitness

As a heavyweight fighter, Florian has multiple workouts each day. He’ll have at least one training session focused on his boxing work, and one for strength and conditioning in the gym.

When he’s in the gym, Florian trains with heavy compound exercises. Such as squats, bench press, and deadlifts. These exercises work on multiple muscles in Florian’s body at the same time, ensuring maximum growth.

Nutrition

Fat-Burning and Muscle-Building Diet

When training for a professional competition, Florian will typically eat 4-5 meals per day. Eating several smaller portions throughout the day helps Florian’s body digest the nutrients more efficiently, allowing for better absorption.

When it comes to ‘cheat’ foods such as sugars and processed meats, Florian avoids them most of the time. However, when he doesn’t have any important event coming up, Florian will allow himself a cheat meal or two – his favorite is pizza.

  • PLEASE BIG NASTY DO NOT BEAT CREED SON TO DEATH FLROIAN I KNOW U WILL DESTROY HIM. HE IS NO CONTEST FOR YOU SIR . MUCH LOVE AND ADMIRATION AND RESPECT CHAMPION.

  • Don't know why they say he's a professional boxer when he has no legit fight nor record but despite that he's gonna be badass in Creed 2. Those talking poop about him I gurrentee you wouldn't say that to his face. Good luck in your first big screen bro

  • A lot of jealousy on here. So he's not really a contending boxer but he is boxer ready. I'm sure with his routine he would have no problem going 12 rounds on a moments notice. His father was a boxer so I imagine he picked up enough growing up to be dangerous. I have no idea who the dude was until I saw he was going to be in Creed 2. Can't wait to see Ivan Drago reprise his role.

  • Thing is, it is bad to say you are a profesional boxer if you're not. He may be a boxer, sure. But so am I. I can't go around and tell people I'm a pro boxer, cause that would be a lie. So why promote yourself as a pro boxer when he is not even registrered as such?
