Dan Tai is a Leeds-based personal trainer and fitness model. Growing up, Dan had a keen interest in sports. He began playing rugby union at the age of three, along with taking part in 100-m sprints.
Throughout the years, Dan’s passion for sports grew, and so did his ‘thirst’ for success. This led him to become a professional rugby player in 2014 – taking part in the Irish and British Cup. Dan also spent one season playing Rugby League and Rugby Sevens, where he was a part of Leeds Rhinos team.
Due to his passion for sports and health, it was only a matter of time before Dan became interested in fitness. In 2016, he set out on a journey to become a personal trainer. After receiving his certification, Dan began helping others with their fitness goals.
He also worked hard on his own physique by training in the gym. This has seen him grow in not only his muscles and strength, but also fame and recognition. As a result, Dan has since become one of the top fitness specialists from Leeds.

Dan aims to train several times per week in the gym. He includes both strength training and cardio into his routine.
His workouts are based on heavy multi-joint exercises which help him carve out a muscular and aesthetic physique.
Near the end of his workouts, Dan likes to include some isolation exercises. These allow him to target specific muscle groups.
As for cardio, Dan only does it when he wants to burn excess calories. He does all types of cardio – from HIIT to low-intensity cardiovascular exercises.

Dan’s nutrition consists of lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. He tries to eat as healthy as possible. However, he’ll allow himself a ‘cheat meal’ here and there to keep his cravings at bay.
