Maria’s week of training is made up of cardio, strength workouts, and flexibility drills. She starts her day off with a quick cardio session, before having a hearty meal.

In the afternoon, she’ll have a strength workout, where she’ll do all sorts of exercises to keep her body toned. These include squats, barbell presses, lunges, and ab rollouts.

After completing the workout, Maria likes to spend the next 10 or 20 minutes stretching the muscles she’d trained that day. This helps her to prevent injury and reduce lactic acid build-up within the muscle.

“Everybody is different and it took me years of experience to find out what works exactly for me. And when I feel like I hit a plateau I try not to panic but to makes small adjustments. If you get stuck, draw with a different pen. Different strokes for different folks.”


While Maria strives to eat as healthily as possible, she’s aware that her diet can’t be strict all the time. In fact, she likes to reward herself every now and again with a treat to stay motivated in terms of pursuing her future fitness goals.

Generally, the foods she eats on a regular basis include;

  • Raw Vegetables
  • Fruits
  • Lean Poultry
  • Plant-based Protein Sources
  • Grass-Fed Beef
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Avocados

Maria also likes to consume some healthy fats in the form of olive and coconut oil. She sometimes adds these to smoothies to increase their calorie content, in case she wants to gain lean muscle.

What we can learn from Maria Gad

Maria Gad has sculpted an awesome physique through determination and focused work. If you’re looking to achieve a figure like hers, you should be ready to sacrifice certain things – such as processed foods, alcohol, and excess sugar.

However, this doesn’t mean you should stick to a perfect diet all the time. As Maria has shown us, it’s okay to treat yourself with your favorite foods and drinks every now and again. “Everything in moderation,” that’s what Maria preaches.
