Elle Edwards is a fitness model, law student, and sponsored athlete from England. Among Elle’s passions are food, health, and weight training. She loves the feeling of getting a good workout in and keeping her body strong.

However, this wasn’t how Elle’s life always looked. Growing up, she was a dancer and gymnast. As her high school years came to a close, so did her days in gymnastics and dance. It was at this point, Elle started pursuing a career of a lawyer.

During this period, Elle picked up some unhealthy habits, including binge drinking and eating ‘junk’ foods. This was her way of coping with her stressful and demanding career of a law student. “My body quickly deflated and I gained a substantial amount of weight,” says Elle.

One day, upon waking up, Elle realized none of her clothes fitted, as she gained too much weight. This was a turning point in her life. After this ‘rude awakening,’ she took on weight training and never looked back. She’s gone on to build not only an amazing body, but also a career as a fitness influencer and online personality who shows others the possibilities that the fitness lifestyle can create.

Training

As a fitness fanatic, Elle doesn’t mind training for longer than two hours in the gym. However, due to her responsibilities, this isn’t always possible.

To compensate for the lack of free time, Elle likes to keep her workouts short and intense – doing many sets and reps in a short space of time.

This not only keeps the intensity up for Elle. But it also elevates her heart rate throughout the workout, serving her as cardio too.

Nutrition

Elle has come a long way ever since she changed her diet and training program. She describes herself as someone who has always loved food, however, her nutrition choices are much healthier nowadays.

She keeps her diet packed full of protein. This includes chicken breasts, low-fat yogurt, and plant protein sources. In addition, Elle eats healthy carbs and fats in the form of brown rice, sweet potatoes, olive oil, nuts, and avocados.

In terms of supplements, she doesn’t use them for the most part. Elle meets her nutrient needs through whole food alone. However, the only exception to this is when she travels; it’s during those times that she reaches out for a whey protein or a multivitamin to cover any nutritional gaps.

“Alcohol and kebabs were my bestie and that’s not to say I don’t indulge now because that’d be a big fat lie – I do!!! But now I have a much healthier balance and it’s done me wonders! “

What we can learn from Elle Edwards

What we can learn from Elle Edwards, is that a healthy lifestyle can bring a lot of joy and happiness to your life.

While it certainly isn’t easy to achieve a transformation like Elle’s, the process of transformation will make you stronger, both mentally and physically.

Keep training consistently, and no matter how hard the road might get, remember that the end result will be worth it. Just like Elle Edwards has shown us.
