Grenade Thermo Detonator Review

Grenade Thermo Detonator is a fat burner that has gained a reasonable level of notoriety in the supplement industry due to the fact that it comes in a fricken grenade shaped product. However, just because a product is well known, that doesn’t mean it is going to be good.

The Grenade fat burner is a perfect example of this as, while lots of people will have seen it or heard of it, it doesn’t come close to being one of the better fat burners on the market. In the following Grenade Thermo Detonator review, we will show you exactly why that is.

Grenade Thermo Detonator Review

Grenade Thermo Detonator is a fat burner that claims to boost your energy levels, suppress your hunger, and help you lose weight, without causing jitters or any other side effects. Unfortunately, these claims start to unravel when you begin examining the ingredients.

The Grenade fat burner consists of green tea, bitter orange extract, caffeine, cayenne pepper, phenylalanine, and green coffee. At first glance, these all seem like natural ingredients and many of them are commonly linked to supplements that help people lose weight.

The problems begin when you look at the dosages. All of the scientifically proven ingredients are present in doses well below recommended, so are likely to produce minimal results at best, while bitter orange powder is used in a dosage that is far too high and potentially unsafe.

You then have an ingredient in phenylalanine that is potentially unsafe regardless of the dose you use. This means there is a very real chance the Grenade fat burner formula will do more harm than good.

While Thermo Detonator is reasonably affordable, it also isn’t that different in price to other supplement choices, such as a more proven and effective fat burner like Instant Knockout Cut.

Considering you aren’t guaranteed to see any benefits, may experience severe side effects, and won’t even save any money, there isn’t any good reason to take Grenade Thermo Detonator.

Grenade Thermo Detonator Ingredients

Green Tea Extract

Green tea extract is a common ingredient in fat burners as it is beneficial for helping you lose weight and remain healthy while doing so.

Its natural caffeine content is used for boosting energy levels and metabolism, while it also improves focus. The latter will make your body burn more calories naturally, while the former will enhance your exercise performance, increasing calorie and fat burning even more.

Green tea also features antioxidants known as catechins. The main catechin, EGCG, is extremely beneficial for both body fat loss and your overall health. It aids fat loss as it stimulates lipolysis, which is the process your body uses to convert stored fat into energy.

Meanwhile, it fights free radicals, prevents oxidative damage, regulates blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol, aids brain and heart functions, relieves stress, and aids with certain other illnesses (1).

For these effects to be seen though, you need to be consuming around 400 to 500 mg of EGCG per day. With Grenade Thermo Detonator containing 500 mg of green tea and green tea having a 50% EGCG content at best, it is highly unlikely enough is present for optimal effects. (2).

Bitter Orange Powder

Bitter orange extract is the more common name for synephrine, a compound similar to ephedrine. It can often be included in a fat burning supplement due to the belief that it can improve digestion, circulation, and fat loss.

There are two issues with its inclusion here though. First, its effects still haven’t been proven conclusively, while even the studies that tout its benefits admit that the effects are mild.

Then you have the fact that Grenade Thermo Detonator has 420 mg of bitter orange powder a serving (two pills) and the highest recommended daily dosage is just 60 mg per day (3). This means not only could its inclusion provide no benefits but it could also be dangerous as well.

Caffeine

Caffeine is a potent stimulant that is among the most used on Earth. Regularly consumed in drinks, foods, and supplements, it is used for its incredible ability to increase energy levels and prevent fatigue.

It is incredibly useful when you are trying to lose weight, as it allows you to complete a longer, harder workout routine. This will promote more effective calorie and fat burning, while also helping you to build muscle, all of which will aid your weight loss journey (4).

Caffeine also stimulates lipolysis and your metabolism. Lipolysis is a process your body uses to turn stored fat into fatty acids that will promote energy production, while a higher metabolic rate will increase your calorie burn rate, make better use of nutrients, and prevent weight gain.

The optimal caffeine dosage is 200 mg per day though (5). With every serving (two capsules) of Grenade Thermo Detonator containing only 175 mg of caffeine, it just doesn’t contain enough to compete with the better fat burners on the market.

Cayenne Pepper

Cayenne pepper extract (capsaicin) is found in cayenne peppers, as well as a number of other bell and chilli peppers. It is a compound that gives them their distinctive taste and heat, and is also extremely good at raising your body’s rate of thermogenesis.

Thermogenesis is a process that involves raising your body’s core temperature. When your body temperature is raised, fat stores are easier to break down and turn into fuel, while your metabolism usually increases at a similar rate, further increasing calorie and fat burning (6).

Other benefits of capsaicin include pain and inflammation reduction, as well as it working as an appetite suppressant. This will all help you stick to a healthy diet and exercise regimen, which will maximise your ability to lose weight.

Unfortunately, to see the true power of cayenne pepper, you need to consume around 500 mg each day. With Grenade Thermo Detonator boasting just 200 mg, it is unlikely to produce any real noticeable effect.

Phenylalanine

Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid most commonly found in meat and eggs. Its most common use in humans is to treat a skin condition known as vitiligo, but there are also suggestions it can help with ADHD, chronic pain, aging, depression, weight loss, and more.

The problem is, there is very little evidence to support any of these claims. Even worse is the fact that it has been linked to a range of severe side effects, such as anxiety, constipation, headaches, seizures, brain damage, and other mental problems (7).

This makes the inclusion of phenylalanine in Grenade Thermo Detonator both controversial and extremely risky.

Green Coffee

Green coffee extract is from raw, unroasted coffee beans and is a great source of antioxidants called catechins plus natural caffeine and chlorogenic acid. Caffeine will give you more energy, prevent fatigue, and boost your metabolism, while catechins will make you healthier overall.

The chlorogenic acid may be very useful in a fat burner as preliminary evidence suggests it can combat high blood pressure and blood sugar levels, and also raise your metabolic rate (8). The problem is, none of these proposals have yet been confirmed, so its true potential is unknown.

Regardless of this though, studies show that at least 240 mg of green coffee is required for it to have any effect (9). With Grenade Thermo Detonator containing just 10 mg per serving, its inclusion is virtually worthless.

Grenade Thermo Detonator Customer Reviews

The Grenade Thermo Detonator review score on most websites averages around 4 stars out of 5. Common positives include the low price tag and its ability to give you a good energy boost if taken pre workout or on an empty stomach.

However, the negative reviews seem to be a little more telling. While some accepted they did increase energy, there were numerous complaints about side effects, some of which required users to seek medical advice, while others claimed it simply didn’t help them lose weight.

Grenade Thermo Detonator Review Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Made largely from proven fat burner ingredients
  • Comes in a very cool container

Cons

  • All of the ingredient dosages are well off of the optimal levels
  • The benefits of some of the ingredients still haven’t been proven
  • Contains ingredients linked to severe side effects
  • You are paying more for the name and design, rather than the efficacy of the fat burner

Grenade Thermo Detonator Review Conclusion

Our Grenade Thermo Detonator review should have clearly demonstrated that, while the Grenade fat burner uses some beneficial ingredients, its incorrect dosages and potential for side effects mean you are much better turning to other fat burners to help you lose weight.

You’d be better off spending your money on the Instant Knockout Cut fat burner instead. One of the top fat burners available, it safely and effectively does everything Thermo Detonator claims to, while being vitually the same price, making it a better option in every way.
