Gabriela Costa is a popular fitness model from Brazil. She often travels South America doing photo shoots and inspiring people with her example.
Gabriela started posting pictures and videos on the web back in June 2017. Since then, she’s reached popularity in not just her country but on the international level too. She’s also made her name as a friendly and helpful figure in the fitness industry over the years.
She shares a host of training videos for anyone who’s looking to get fitter, no matter their background. If her recent progress is anything to go by, there’s a lot more to expect from Gabriela in the future.

Gabriela’s training is a mix of classic compound exercises and aerobic activities. These include sprinting, lifting weights in the gym, and outdoors calisthenics.
However, these aren’t the only exercises Gabriela does. She constantly adds new movement patterns to her workouts to keep her muscles engaged, and to avoid “stagnation”.
Gabriela practices stomach vacuums a couple of times per week to keep her abs tight.
She especially loves to do vacuums during a ‘lean gain’ period. The reason for this is because vacuums help Gabriela keeps a small waist even when she’s in a caloric surplus.

Gabriela Costa varies her diet, much as she does with her training. Her calories can range anywhere from 1,600kcal to 2,600kcal per day.
During these ‘cutting’ and ‘bulking’ phases, Gabriela maintains a whole-food diet consisting of chicken, sweet potatoes, quinoa, fish, vegetables, and nuts. In terms of fruit, Gabriela only eats berries which are low on the glycemic index scale.
What we can learn from Gabriela Costa
One lesson Gabriela Costa has taught us is ‘patience’. She’s the perfect example that small daily victories add up into bigger things over time.
This proves that success isn’t achieved quickly, but is a result of constant effort towards your goals. With the same mindset as Gabriela, you too can reach your ultimate destination – whatever that might be.
